5 Friday Favorites

It’s Friday and I won’t lie even though I am talking about Easter and spring finds at Target this week but it feels like it should be January.  We are all ready for a good dose of Vitamin D and warm sunshine on our faces…until then, we will just keep on keeping on!

We are excited about seeing college friends from CO as well as seeing my niece as the Wicked Step Mother in Cinderella this weekend.  First, let’s kick off the weekend with some of my favorites from the week!

1 – Easter Celebration

We had a great Easter.  We had fun coloring and hunting eggs, eating out, doing some shopping and enjoying a yummy meal in downtown DSM at Bubba!  I gave my testimony at church and it was a blessing to share my story with others and see God use my mess and make it a message of hope and encouragement!

2 – May Live Event

Connecting with you all is my favorite but connecting in person and getting to hug you all is the best!  I have been wanting to host a live event for a while and am so excited it’s finally happening.  If you are local this event is FREE.  We will be learning about leading simple purposeful life and then 2 great speakers will also share on simple purposeful nutrition and simple purposeful fashion.  There will be giveaways, snacks, connection and lots of fun!  You can find out more about it here and register!

3 – Target Fashion Finds

Target is killing it lately with their dups (that word was new to me too but it means knock-offs I think ;).   I haven’t gotten so much from Target in a long time but I am excited about these staples that I can mix and match with existing wardrobe to make fun new outfits with.  I would suggest trying it all on as I have found different brands fit differently!   Have you gotten anything at Target lately?

4 – 10 on the 10th Linkup

I am still hosting the 10 on the 10th linkup.  I updated the graphic to reflect the new website but we will be sharing 10 things in our car on Monday!  I can’t wait to see what you stock your car with and how it helps you to keep on keeping on :).  You could also share the copious amounts of french fries and trash you find too (just me?).

5 – Spring Cleaning Challenge

Next week, we are starting our 7 day, 7 Room Spring Cleaning Challenge.  Make sure you sign up for my email list (you can here) so you can get the PDF checklist as well as join the Facebook accountability group.  Don’t forget to use our tribe hashtags #tribekoko and #SPLspringcleaningchallenge!  Cleaning is my least favorite chore but it’s a necessary evil so you all will be motivating me to deep clean too!

In Case You Missed It

This week on the blog I shared a little tweak I made to the guest bathroom to help our guests feel more at home (read more here) and I also shared 5 simple tips to organize after a holiday (read more here)!

Until next time keep on keeping on with a simple purposeful life!
