10 Fall Must-Haves

It’s fall Y’all and for some reason that makes me break-out a southern accent although I have never really lived in the south.  As an adult, fall has quickly become one of my favorite seasons of the year.  I love them all but there is something so charming, quaint and I’ll say it, COZY, about fall.  Today, I am sharing my 10 fall must-haves that just make fall ah-mazing in my book.  It’s also my monthly 10 on the 10th link-up so if you shared your fall essentials, make sure to link up below!

Now, let’s get the fall vibes going as I share my 10 fall must-haves!

1- Cozy Blanket

There is nothing better than curling up with my family under a cozy blanket.  My kids got me a new faux-fur blanket for my birthday and I use it every single day.  I linked up my favorites below.

2 – Apple Nachos

Seriously, my kids beg for this as an after-school snack or weeknight dessert all fall long.  So, I make sure to keep my pantry well-stocked with all the essentials.  Find the recipe here.  Click here to easily pin the recipe.

3 – Slippers

My feet just do a happy dance when they slip into a pair of cozy slippers.  I have had 2 pairs of Ugg slippers and have loved them!  I have always been curious about the Minnetonka ones as well and the price-point is nice and MN pride!

4 – Fall Bucket List

You knew this was coming.  We do a family bucket list for every season. You can read why here.  We are working on this year’s bucket list but you can read about last year’s bucket list here and pin our bucket list here.

5 – Essential Oils & Diffuser

First, I love Thieves because it smells like fall.  It also keeps all the new school germs away so I diffuse it almost every single day!  I use this affordable diffuser.  Our allergies remind us we live on a farm field around this time each year so I also love RC and rub that on our chests when we have a particularly hard day.  My friend also shared this fun fall blends graphic as an alternative to scented candles.

**If you ever curious about oils, please message me.  I use Young Living Oils and joined the distributor program to reap the benefits of the discount. It has been well worth my money.

6 – Football & Tailgating

No fall would be complete without tailgating with our families.  No tailgate would be complete without some goooooooood recipes.  You should try the corn bean salsa, baked Mexican dip, and magic bars.   I rounded up some of our favorite tailgating gear below.

I linked my cardigan, tank and jeans below!

7 – Layers & Scarves

Is there anything better than wearing layers and scarves in the fall?  It’s my favorite time of year to get dressed!  My friend Sarah, The Haute Homemaker, shared 5 wardrobe essentials on the blog here.  I linked up my favorites based on her recommendations!

8 – Caramel & Pumpkin Recipes

I rediscover my love for baking every fall.  My friend Amanda makes these delicious popcorn balls. You can find them here and pin them here.  I also love, love, love anything with pumpkin puree so of course, I can’t wait to make pumpkin bars and those simple pumpkin muffins that just take two ingredients – a box of spice cake mix and a can of pumpkin puree!  YUM!

9 – Fall Decor

Last year, I shared how I decorate for fall.  I don’t do too much but it’s a great decorating warm-up for Christmas.  I love little touches of pumpkins and autumn colors around the house.   I also love a good fall scented candle and a fellow tribe member recommended an affordable option at Wal-mart.  She recommended the Mainstays Mulled Cider.  I can’t wait to try it out in October ;)!

10 – Crisp Fall Air & Flannel Sheets

In my opinion, there is nothing better than the crisp, cool fall air blowing in as you snuggle up under flannel sheets!  Is it too soon to pull them out yet?  Not to mention, saving money on the heating and cooling bills and airing out your home between summer and winter.  Fresh air is so good for the soul!  I get my flannel sheets at Target and love them :)!

We just finished watching Anne with an E on Netflix.  It’s the perfect binge-worthy show for the fall!  I am now reading the book series because I just fell in love with Anne and can you believe, I never read the series as a kid!  Anyone have a good fall binge-worthy show. I  suggest When Calls the Heart (Netflix) and Hart of Dixie (Netflix).  Has anyone heard about the show Heartland? I think we are going to try that one next!

What are you fall must-haves?  If you blogged make sure to link-up!

Until next time keep on keeping on with a simple purposeful life!
