Easy Peasy Pizza Bread

It’s summertime around here which means I am serving up lunch to my kids daily and am always looking to switch up some of their favorites.  All of my kids love pizza so this easy peasy pizza bread was a HUGE hit.  It takes less than 5 minutes to whip together and 30 minutes to bake so it’s a perfect lunch or dinner idea.

Pizza Bread on a dinner plate

When I was a little girl, I remember eating this delicious pizza bread at a family friend’s house.  She sliced it up as an appetizer and I remember asking my mom to get the recipe.  We have served it for years as an appetizer but it dawned on me one day we could totally serve it up as a meal with a side salad and fruit and that’s exactly what we have done (2 times in one week to be exact).

Pizza Bread Ingredients

Refrigerated Pizza Dough

1 Cup Pepperoni

2 Cups Mozzarella Cheese

Marinara Sauce for Dipping

Pizza Bread Instructions

Now, the secret to making this pizza bread so simple is using refrigerated pizza dough.  Make sure to preheat your oven to 350 degrees.  Then, unroll the pizza dough onto a sheet pan.  Layer on a cup of pepperoni and 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese.

Then, fold in the ends (think burrito style) and roll.  When you are finished rolling, make sure to place the seam underneath for baking.  Place the pizza bread in the oven for 30 minutes.  It should be golden brown and cooked through.

Slice the pizza bread up into 1-inch pieces with a side of warmed marinara sauce, a side salad, and some fruit for a delicious meal or serve it as an appetizer for your next get together.  It’s a crowd-pleaser!  Who doesn’t love pizza?
