Simple Ways to Organize Jewelry

With the kids heading back to school, I am getting the itch to purge and organize my house. Just me? So, in the spirit of organizing all the things, I thought I would share with you the simple way I organize my jewelry so it stays tangle-free and I can easily see what I have. I only keep heirlooms and rarely worn pieces in my traditional jewelry box.

Cork Board Necklace Holder

I picked up a couple of small cork boards and some large push pins to hang my long necklaces from. As my necklace needs change, I can add more or less push pins to fit my necklace inventory. I can easily see what I have and they do not get tangled while stored away.

Plastic Craft Box Organization

I picked up a couple divided plastic craft boxes to store my earrings, rings and smaller, more delicate necklaces in. I store this on my dresser in my closet with the lid secured so that if little hands find them, all the contents won’t spill out.

Bangle Basket

Lastly, I place all my bangles and bracelets in a small plastic basket on my closet dresser so I can pick out my favorites to pair with my outfit of the day. It’s easy to dig around and grab the ones I need.
